A Day in the Life: Keeping Pittsburgh Warm with Staab & Sons, Inc.

Rise and Shine: The Morning Routine

As a technician at Staab & Sons, Inc., my day starts early. I’m up at 6 AM, gulping down coffee and checking my schedule. Today, I’ve got a furnace replacement in West Mifflin and a couple of heater installations in Bethel Park.

First Call: Furnace Replacement

By 8 AM, I’m at the first client’s home in West Mifflin. The family’s old furnace has been acting up, and it’s time for an upgrade. I walk them through the process, explaining the benefits of the new energy-efficient model we’re installing. It’s satisfying to know that they’ll be cozy and warm for years to come.

Lunchtime Pit Stop

Around noon, I grab a quick bite at a local deli in Carnegie. It’s a great chance to recharge before the afternoon’s tasks.

Afternoon: Heater Installations

The rest of my day is spent in Bethel Park, where I’m installing new heaters in two different homes. Each job is unique, requiring careful attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the latest heating technologies.

Emergency Call: Furnace Repair

Just as I’m wrapping up, I get an urgent call about a furnace repair in South Park. A family’s heating system has suddenly stopped working, and with temperatures dropping, it’s crucial to get it fixed ASAP. I head over immediately, diagnosing and repairing the issue within an hour.

End of Day: Reflection and Preparation

As I drive back to our main office in Pittsburgh, I reflect on the day’s accomplishments. It’s rewarding to know that I’ve helped keep several families warm and comfortable. Before heading home, I check in with the office, update my job reports, and prepare for tomorrow’s furnace service appointments.

Working at Staab & Sons, Inc. is more than just a job – it’s about being there for our community, ensuring that homes across Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas stay warm and cozy, no matter what the weather brings.
